Holocaust "Mini Masters" Program
Mar-15-10

Join this 8-week Holocaust studies course and trip to Prague and Poland designed exclusively for Birthright Israel alumni.

Hear first-hand survivor accounts, learn about the Holocaust’s impact on contemporary life, and explore the theme of resistance during war.  Lectures are given by top university professors, authors, survivors and other experts.

Classes take place in the early evening, one night a week.

The 10-day trip to Prague and Poland includes visits to concentration camps and important pre-war Jewish heritage sites.

It also offers an overview of Eastern European Jewry and the devastating impact the Holocaust had on these historic communities.

Participants will visit the remnants of the Warsaw Ghetto wall, the Warsaw Uprising monument, Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps, historic synagogues, landmarks and more.

Dates:

Program #1 begins in March with a trip in May/June.
Program #2 begins in May with a trip in August.
