The Jewish Museum Travel Program
Oct-10-09 - May-20-10

All Jewish Museum tours feature deluxe hotels, beautifully furnished with all the amenities necessary to guarantee the high comfort level that our participants require. A full, buffet-style breakfast is served daily. Opening and closing receptions and dinners as well as a special Friday evening Shabbat meal, are always included. Other meals vary with each tour according to logistics. At group meals, fish, dairy and vegetarian food is available.

Included in the trip fee is round trip airfare usually from one of New York City's international airports, all ground transportation in the country visited, and luggage handling. All sightseeing and entrance fees to historic sites and museums are included, as well as the expertise of a licensed local guide - in addition to the Museum's Scholar-in-Residence accompanying most trips.

Previous tour destinations have included Turkey, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Provence, Alsace, Italy, Sicily, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Argentina, Cuba, China, and Ireland. Designed for people of all ages, the Museum Travel Programs entail walking moderate distances which may include uneven or slightly hilly terrain.

The Jewish Museum Travel Program is open to all members of The Jewish Museum. Members at the Patron ($1,000) level and above receive priority registration opportunities for all Museum travel programs. If you are not currently a member, but would like to become one so that you may participate in the Travel Program, you can do so by going to Membership online.
